March of Trash asks you to take action on clutter every day for a month. The 2019 edition takes the shape of a game board. The board gives you a different way to focus on clutter every day. Use these prompts to find and remove clutter.
Day 2: The essential purpose of clutter-busting is to make space available for use. Clear a lot of space at once by taking away a large item that doesn’t need to be there — the proverbial elephant in the room. These large items are so familiar that they can easily be overlooked. One common example is a china cabinet containing traditional plates and bowls so fragile they would never be used even if the queen were to stop by for tea. Potentially the entire cabinet and everything in it could be taken away.
